RULES AND REGULATIONS
These rules have been set forth by the Fairlawn Cemetery Committee:
Purchase of Lots: Persons desiring to purchase lots in the Fairlawn Cemetery are referred to the City Hall (806)246-3421.
Cost of Lots: One burial space is $50.
Option 1: Bury one casket and two cremations.
OR
Option 2: Four cremations can be buried on one space.
Monuments and markers: shall be designed in harmony with the lot and its environment. Only one monument shallbe erected on a lot. All upright markers, monuments and memorials are to be constructed in such a manner as to per- mit the mowing, trimming and other care of the lawn and foliage in the cemetery. Flower vases should be attached to headstone or marker.
Graves
The City Staff will mark all remains.
No person shall in any manner attempt to define by fencing, railing, corner post, curbing by cement or block any grave site. No loose material such as rocks and/or gravel. No solar lights and statues. Flowers should be in place for six months and then removed. City staff will remove cut flowers or artifi- cial arrangements as needed while caring for the cemetery. Grass only is permitted on top of graves.
